French Wedding Theme Color Ideas?
I am thinking about having a French/Paris inspired theme for my wedding. I have always loved the Eiffel Tower and the French style and would love to incorporate it into my wedding day. I have decided on a plum color for my wedding, along with black lace accents and some white satin. However, while I am in the process of planning the decorations for both the ceremony and the reception, I feel like my wedding will be a little dull or dark with just the purple and black.
I want to keep everything elegant and authentic. I am incorporating lavender into my flower bouquets to lighten the mood, as well as cream colored flowers. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how or what other colors would blend well with deep plum and black lace??
I suppose I should add that the wedding will be on October 12 (not this year though)
Lavender is brilliant. Having a color combination of Plum, Lavender, White and black? Gorgeous. Just keep the black to an accent, since you don’t want it being TOO dark. Make sure there’s plenty of lavender and white, and you’ll be just fine.
