Paris for 1 night. What to do?!?
My wife & I are staying in PAris for 1 day and 1 night as part of a cruise. We’ve never been there before. What should we do?!
During the day / afternoon we’re doing a Fat Tire bike tour to most of the major tourist sights and plan to go to / up the Eiffel tower but have no plans for that evening.
Any suggestions for what to do / where to eat for a true / short Paris experience?
If you walk under the Eiffel Tower to the river and turn to the right there are docks and dinner cruises. I like Bateaux Parisiens, which is right there. It’s a very short walk. You can have dinner on the river while the city lights come on before you. The meal includes wine and live entertainment. It is a dressy thing, no shorts or tee shirts etc. They want to keep a certain atmosphere and will turn you away if your underdressed. Try to get a window seat. This is very nice and the food is not bad for a tourist thing. It will be a great memory and lots of fun. You’ll also meet other people around your table. Not too expensive. If there’s time make a reservation.
