Merci beaucoup, marzetwo! ![]()
I’ll walk to those places, when looking at your link I realised how close they are.
I’ll give you a few examples, and then you can find your own routes on the map with the link below. sdon’t try to plan all your routes in advance !! (by the way : obviouslay you stay at sèvres-babylone : excellent choice !)
To get to the Musee National d’Art Moderne-Centre Georges Pompidou
1. Board the metro at Sevres-Babylone, line 10 direction Gare d’Austerlitz
2. Get off the train at Odéon
3. Transfer to line 4 and direction Porte de Clignancourt
4. Get off again at Les Halles
what I would actually do: walk from Sèvres-bab to etiher Saint-Sulpice of Odéon station (which are nearby) to go directly on line 4.
To get to Musee d’Orsay
1. Board the metro at Sevres-Babylone, line 12 & direction Porte de La Chapelle
2. Get off the train at Assemblée nationale
what I would actually do : just walk there, it’s a nice 15 mn walk
To get to Basilique du Sacre-Coeur
1. Board the metro at Sevres-Babylone, line 12 & direction Porte de La Chapelle
2. Get off the train at either
Jules Joffrin + Montmartrobus (arrêt place du Tertre)
or
Abbesses + Funiculaire
Pantheon, Hotel des Invalides : not really far : walk, really not far
Tout eiffel : line 10 to La motte piquet, then line 6 direction Etoile, get off at either Bir Hakeim or Trocadero (best approach is from there)
Arc de triomphe : you can reach Charles de Gaulle-Etoile station with a combination of either line 12 & 1 through Concorde or line 10 & 6 through la motte Picquet : same timing but the secdond route is scenic because it goes above the river.
… now you’re on your own !
