The Louvre and gift shops in paris?
Hi,
I’m going to Paris with my school in a few months and our schedule is really tight. So i have a few questions:
- We’re only in Paris for 3 days and there’s no visit to the Louvre scheduled! We do have 3 hours of free time on the last day. Would that be enough time to see SOME of the Louvre and perhaps visit the gift shop? Also, i really like The painter Claude Monet. Are any of his works at the Louvre? Do you know where i can purchase his souvenirs (mugs, paintings, etc)? Also, in case i don’t get to the Louvre, are there gift shops around with Louvre painting, and magnets and things like that? How about in the airport ? I’d like to visit Monet’s museum but i don’t think any of my friends will want to go, and we’re not aloud off by ourselves. Is this museum close to the eiffel tower ?
Thanks for all your help. Feel free to provide other thoughts on Paris shopping and attractions is you can?
Thanks!
Louvre is too big to be visited in 3 hours and just the line to enter in it would eat probably half ot he time. If you like Monet, the right museum is Musée D’Orsay where there are most of the impressionists.
It is also very big and 3 hours wouldn’t be enough but definitely you can see Money and buy some presents in the shop of the museum.
