What are some activites i could do in Paris that are cheap and near the Select Hotel – Rive Gauche?
I have been assigned to plan a trip to Paris. I “have” $5000. i have to use it up. i “spent” $2,420.78 on a round trip plane ticket and a hotel booking. i need some things i can do that are cheap and near the mentioned hotel. if there are any websites you guys could give that would be great too!!!

Paris is actually quite compact and has the best public transportation system in the world. So, in fact, everything is “near” a hotel which is located in the center, as the Select Hotel – Rive Gauche is.
You are within a few minutes walk of the Seine, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Luxembourg Gardens and Medici Palace (which is used by the French Senate), the Panthéon (where many famous people are interred), the Place St. Michel, the Pont Neuf (which despite its name is the oldest bridge in Paris), Sainte Chappelle, the Conciergerie (where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned before they cut off her head) and the Cluny museum.
